Galleri FRANK is pleased to present seven Malmö-based artists, who have come together to explore the theme of exposure through photography. Photographically, exposure means to control how light touches film. It’s the process of illumination, the fixing of fleeting moments, and the unfolding of narratives we want to be seen.

In exposing an image, the photographer captures transience, freezes motion, and draws the eye to perspectives which would otherwise remain concealed. In its essence, to expose is to lay open, to unmask and to reveal. Playing with the word’s ambiguity, what is it that these artists have chosen to expose about themselves, their worlds and their practice? To find out, you’re welcome to join us on the 10th of October at Galleri FRANK. Drop in, have a drink and spend some time with us between 3 and 10 pm.Regarding COVID-19: We follow Folkhälsomyndighetens recommendations for organising events at the current time. Galleri FRANK har nöjet att presentera sju Malmöbaserade konstnärer, som har slutit upp för att utforska temat Exposure genom fotografi.
Fotografiskt innebär exponering kontroll över hur ljus träffar filmen. Det är en process där ljuset fixerar de flytande ögonblicken, och där narrativen vi vill se uppenbarar sig.

När en bild exponeras fångar fotografen det flyktiga ögonblicket, fryser rörelser och riktar ögonen mot det som annars skulle förbli dolt.I grund och botten handlar exponering att öppna upp, demaskera och avslöja det okända.Vad är det dessa konstnärer har valt att exponera om sig själva, deras värld och deras konstnärliga praktik? För att få svar på den frågan är ni välkomna till Galleri Frank den 10:e Oktober. Sväng förbi, ta något att dricka och umgås, mellan 15:00 och 22:00. Angående COVID-19: Vi följer Folkhälsomyndighetens aktuella rekommendationer för evenemang. Vi rekommenderar dig att hålla avstånd från andra besökare samt att stanna hemma om vid minsta symptom.
