Konstverk som blir helt av din beröring på Malmöfestivalen

Som så många gånger tidigare jobbar FRANK med flera konstnärliga kompetenser synkroniserade. Du som har varit på deras utställningar vet att du kan härleda flera tekniker i ett koncept och bjuds på en upplevelse. Den här gången gör FRANK inte en utställning, utan flyttar ut konsten till det fantastiska myllret på Malmöfestivalen. RIDDL, eller gåtan som vi också kan kalla konstverket, hittar du på fyra olika platser på festivalen. De är skapade tillsammans av fyra konstnärer vars högsta önskan är att du ska hitta svaret.

Skulpturerna RIDDL får lov att lekas med av besökare i alla åldrar, det är ett konstverk som aktiveras med nyfikna besökares hjälp. Du kanske måste be någon om hjälp, du kanske hittar en lösning för att göra det helt på egen hand. Besökaren kan direkt interagera med skulpturen, då förflyttas fokus till betraktarens fysiska närvaro. Konst handlar enligt oss om att beröras, vilket sker i dubbel bemärkelse med RIDDL.

I teamet bakom dessa stora och interaktiva skulpturer är konstnärerna Malin Eng (mixed media artist), Nicklas Lundberg (ljudkonstnär), Guy Bartell (ljudkonstnär) och Mary Toreld (konceptutvecklare). Mary Toreld projektleder truppen men framtagande av koncept fördelas jämlikt mellan konstnärerna – för den bästa konsten krävs samarbete.

Konstverket blir komplett med mänsklig beröring. Utan att någon interagerar med skulpturerna är de ofullständiga. Alltså behöver vi dig.

RIDDL
Artwork that will be complete with your touch at Malmöfestivalen

As so many times before, FRANK works with several artistic competences synchronized. You who have been to their exhibitions know that you can derive several techniques in one concept and are offered an experience. This time, FRANK does not make an exhibition, but moves the art to the amazing crowd at Malmöfestivalen. RIDDL, or the mystery as we also can call the artwork, can be found at four different places at the festival. They are created together by four artists whose highest wish is for you to find the answer.

The sculptures RIDDL are allowed to be played with visitors of all ages, it is a work of art that is activated with curious visitors’ help. You might have to ask someone for help, you might find a solution to do it entirely on your own. The visitor can directly interact with the sculpture, then the focus is shifted to the viewer’s physical presence. According to us, art is about feeling/s, which happens in the double sense with RIDDL.

In the team behind these large and interactive sculptures are the artists Malin Eng (mixed media artist), Nicklas Lundberg (sound artist), Guy Bartell (sound artist) and Mary Toreld (concept developer). Mary Toreld is the project manager but the creation of the concept is distributed equally among the artists – for the best art cooperation is required.

The artwork is complete with human touch. Without anyone interacting with the sculptures, they are incomplete. So we need you.
